In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health assessments, medication management, and patient-centered care. We are looking for someone with psychiatric experience who enjoys providing thoughtful, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient well-being while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and medication reviews, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with supervising Psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services for patients in various locations. Document all patient encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) system: Athena, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and wellness. Recognize when a patient may benefit from alternative or higher levels of care.
Position Details:
