Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNA Transport Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of driving, including commercial driving with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role involves operating the facility wheelchair van. The Transport Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely transport residents to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload residents using wheelchair mechanical lift or manual methods as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while being adaptable to changes as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Requirements Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type. Proven good driving record. Experience in route driving and delivery driver roles is highly desirable. Ability to operate van mechanical lift safely for loading and unloading. Knowledge of healthcare procedures and regulations. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
