Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic non-medical homecare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure the comfort and safety of our diverse patient population. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Meal preparation Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Provide medication reminders as directed under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or dementia care units Maintain medical documentation meticulously, including notes on patient care activities and medical records management Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or in long-term care facilities is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (CPR) certification required Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling safely using proper lifting practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and caregivers Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
