- 12-Hour Shifts We are a small adult care home serving only 5 residents and are looking for a mature, responsible, dependable, and hardworking Caregiver/CNA who wants a stable, long-term position.
Schedule:
Sunday, Monday & Tuesday Hours:
7:00 AM-7:00 PM What We're Looking For CNA preferred Adult foster home/adult care home experience strongly preferred If not a CNA, minimum 3 years of long-term care or facility caregiving experience required or adult care home experince Mature, responsible, dependable, and trustworthy Strong common sense and problem-solving skills Able to think independently and use good judgment Able to handle day-to-day situations calmly without constant direction Takes initiative, stays productive, and sees what needs to be done Strong multitasking and time-management skills Must be comfortable working independently and managing resident needs during the shift Hospice/end-of-life care experience is a plus Must have 6-hour dementia training or obtain it within 1 week of hire Must complete required online Inclusive Care and HCBS training For someone interested in advancing into a Lead Caregiver role, we may eventually require/support completion of EQC training Responsibilities Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other ADLs Safely complete resident transfers, including Hoyer lift transfers Medication administration and medication management Complete medication records and resident documentation accurately Cooking and meal preparation Assist residents with feeding and dietary needs Cleaning, laundry, dishes, and general housekeeping Monitor residents and report changes in condition Provide dementia and hospice care as needed Communicate with families, hospice, nurses, and other care providers Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and comfortable home Because we serve only 5 residents , this role involves all aspects of the home. You will help with resident care, medications, cooking, cleaning, documentation, and managing the needs of the home during your shift. We are looking for someone who has common sense, takes ownership of their work, solves problems, and does not need constant supervision. Opportunity for Growth For the right person, this position could develop into a Lead Caregiver role with additional responsibility and leadership opportunities. We would eventually like this person to complete EQC training as they grow into the position. This version is much more targeted toward the mature, experienced person you're trying to find.Pay:
$19.00- $24.
