Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct personal care and support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and well-being. The CNA works collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Help residents with eating and hydration as required. Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and mental condition. Measure and record vital signs as directed. Maintain accurate documentation and resident records. Assist with transferring and repositioning residents safely. Support recreational and social activities that promote resident engagement. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Follow infection prevention and control procedures. Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and team members. Qualifications Current CNA certification in good standing. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Experience in long-term care, senior living, or healthcare settings is an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely.
