Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work with K-12 students in a school setting near Fort Jones, CA. This role is based onsite and spans the upcoming school years through June 11, 2027, offering the rewarding chance to make a lasting impact on students' growth and success. The position is full-time and will immerse you in a supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates possess:
A valid Occupational Therapy license in California Prior experience providing OT services in school settings or with pediatric populations Familiarity with diverse K-12 caseloads Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, students, and families A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students' diverse needs Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Conducting evaluations to determine students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports Consulting with teachers and other school staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom Participating in IEP meetings and providing expert input for student development Adapting therapy techniques and interventions for a range of ages and abilities This contract position provides the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team of education professionals and develop your expertise in school-based occupational therapy within a K-12 environment.
