Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of California Experience providing OT services in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred) Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body (K-12) Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators and families Competency in developing and implementing IEP goals Availability to work onsite throughout the duration of the contract Key responsibilities will include: Assessing students functional abilities and developing tailored treatment plans Providing direct occupational therapy interventions to help students achieve academic and functional goals Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and federal standards Consulting with teaching staff and families to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions The length of this assignment allows you to see your impact over several school years, providing continuity and stability in your professional journey.
