School Social Worker - Part-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The Social Worker will collaborate with students, families, teachers, and school professionals to promote student well-being and academic success.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group counseling and social-emotional support.
Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Support students with IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings.
Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide resources and guidance to families when appropriate.
Support a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
Valid New York State School Social Worker certification/license.
Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
