Job Description

Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential physical therapy services to K-12 students across multiple school sites near Clio, SC. This in-person position offers the chance to make a direct impact, supporting students' physical development in a collaborative educational setting. Supervised remotely by a VOCO physical therapist, this role is ideal for professionals who are confident in their abilities while working independently with ongoing guidance. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid South Carolina PTA license required Recent experience providing physical therapy services in a school setting preferred Comfortable working with children and adolescents (grades K-12) Experience or confidence working independently with remote supervision Strong documentation and communication skills Adaptability to multi-school environment and diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person PTA services, adapting sessions for varying ages and abilities Collaborate with educational and therapy staff for integrated care Follow supervision protocols with a remote PT via VOCO Accurately document interventions and progress in a timely manner Travel between assigned school sites as needed Participate in IEP meetings, parent communications, and staff consults as required
