PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement) At least 2 years of previous school-based experience Deep commitment to fostering educational access and social-emotional growth Demonstrated proficiency in upholding core values and promoting student success Familiarity with compliance related to special education, 504, and MTSS requirements

Responsibilities:

Assess, identify, and support students with academic or social-emotional needs impacting their learning or relationships Actively participate in school-based teams (SPED, 504, MTSS), screenings, and evaluations to address diverse learner requirements Lead interventions and monitor progress for Tier 3 students within the MTSS framework Prepare formal documentation, maintain accurate records, and respect confidentiality Consult and collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, staff, and external agencies, always communicating professionally and promptly Provide current, research-based knowledge on child development and learning disorders; offer professional development to peers as needed Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local guidelines Consistently attend and contribute to meetings at the school and network level, acting as a liaison and expert on child development topics You'll work a consistent 37.5 hours per week, allowing ample time to engage deeply with students and collaborate with a supportive school community.
