Qualifications:
Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) and current Illinois licensure required Demonstrated experience or specialized training in school psychology Proficiency in conducting evaluations, interpreting assessment results, and writing reports Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse students, families, and staff Commitment to promoting positive student outcomes and creating inclusive learning environments Flexibility to successfully manage responsibilities across two school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and participate in multidisciplinary teams Develop and implement student-specific plans, including IEPs and 504 plans Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding intervention strategies and services Provide direct and indirect counseling, crisis response, and behavioral support Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to guide interventions Contribute to school-wide initiatives for mental health, social-emotional learning, and positive behavior support This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the elementary school experience for students who benefit most from compassionate, expert guidance.
