Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting high school students. This onsite role begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 14, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. Your expertise will help guide a caseload of approximately 30 students, working closely with school staff to promote student well-being and success.
Primary Qualifications:
Valid and active Illinois School Psychologist license (required) Previous experience working with high school student populations preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and stakeholders Commitment to in-person/onsite support for students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students as needed Develop and participate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student needs and support strategies Promote positive behavioral interventions and contribute to the development of a supportive school climate Maintain documentation in accordance with state and school policies Why Consider This Role?
