Job Description

Exciting contract opportunity available for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking to support students' academic and emotional growth within a vibrant middle school community. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to make a direct impact by delivering comprehensive psychological services, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, urban educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Previous school-based experience required Demonstrated skill in evaluations, assessments, and OOD (out-of-district) evaluations Experience working in urban school environments Ability to complete and maintain all Pennsylvania clearances Reliable transportation Willingness and ability to work the scheduled hours (8:30 AM-4:00 PM, Monday-Friday); schedule accommodations cannot be made Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable with an exclusively onsite role
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students (occasional OOD and overflow as needed) Interpret assessment results to inform intervention, eligibility, and program placement decisions Participate actively as a member of the multidisciplinary team to support student well-being and achievement Provide consultation and collaboration with educators, administrators, and families Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements This position is available immediately and runs through June 10, 2027. The district requires a physical presence five full days per week on site; part-time scheduling may be considered for exceptional candidates who otherwise meet requirements.
