Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An experienced Imaging professional with strong skills in CT and CT/PET technology is needed for an exciting contract position. This role provides the opportunity to utilize your expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Experience operating both CT and PET/CT imaging equipment Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff Proven reliability and professionalism in previous imaging roles Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
Position Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort Review and verify physician orders, patient identification, and procedure protocols Monitor images for quality and troubleshoot technical issues as needed Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping in compliance with healthcare regulations Assist radiologists with advanced imaging exams when required Adhere to all safety guidelines to minimize risks for patients and staff Manage imaging equipment, report faults, and ensure maintenance standards
