Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Imaging professional proficient in CT and CT/PET scanning to provide expert care in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this contract role, you will utilize your advanced imaging expertise to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Work collaboratively with a dedicated medical team, managing routine and specialized procedures for patients requiring CT or CT/PET scans.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist Current certification (ARRT or equivalent) in CT Imaging Proven ability to operate CT and PET-CT equipment with precision Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, anatomy, and patient positioning Understanding of safety practices regarding radiation and infection control Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach toward patients Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work autonomously as well as part of an interdisciplinary team BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Operate advanced CT and CT/PET scanners, adhering to protocol and safety guidelines Perform routine and specialized imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety Review images for clarity and accuracy, collaborating with radiologists for optimal diagnostic outcomes Maintain equipment, manage imaging documentation, and ensure exam room cleanliness Provide clear instructions to patients and answer any questions regarding procedures Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards at all times This contract opportunity offers a chance to work in a supportive and professional healthcare setting, expanding your experience with cutting-edge imaging technology.
