Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled imaging professional experienced in radiologic technology to provide exceptional patient care and technical expertise in a clinical environment. This contract position is ideally suited for individuals with a strong background in Radiology and X-ray technology, who are ready to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. State licensure as required for radiologic technologists. Proficiency with X-ray equipment and digital imaging systems. Prior experience in a radiology department or imaging center preferred. Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and best practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiology and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images. Ensure quality of images while adhering to safety protocols and minimizing radiation exposure. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort. Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques. Process, review, and transmit images for interpretation by the radiologist. Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs. Support the healthcare team by contributing to a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
