Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to provide vital care in a dynamic, fast-paced 9-bed Level IV Trauma ED. This contract role offers the chance to make a substantial difference during a time of urgent need. Candidates must be confident, adaptable, and ready to deliver high-quality care from day one alongside a collaborative team.
Schedule/Hours:
Three 12-hour night shifts per week 36 hours per week Variable days including weekends and possible holidays (flexible requests for time off considered during scheduling process)
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 3-4 years of recent Emergency Department experience, including work with both adult and pediatric patients Prior completion of at least two traveling RN contracts Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (candidates in progress may be considered if willing/able to obtain missing certifications promptly) Excellent critical thinking, triage, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a 9-bed trauma setting and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert patient care for both pediatric and adult populations in the Emergency Department Perform rapid assessments and triage Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure best outcomes Manage acute and emergent situations efficiently Accurately document interventions and monitor patient progress Educate and support patients and their families during high-stress situations
