Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Confidence in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes Strong understanding or experience with students on the autism spectrum Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and respond calmly to emergencies Your main duties will include: Delivering daily health care to students for a broad range of needs Creating and overseeing care plans for diabetic and autistic students Dispensing medications and providing first aid according to protocol Acting as a liaison between families, school staff, and outside healthcare providers Maintaining accurate health records in compliance with regulations Educating students and staff on wellness and hygiene practices This part-time role offers schedule flexibility and a chance to make a direct, meaningful impact in the elementary school community.
