Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare environments beneficial Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting for students with communication needs Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, student-centered approach
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine speech and language therapy needs for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver direct therapy sessions, adapting methods and materials based on student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support generalization of skills across settings Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings Provide guidance and training to school staff and families about communication disorders and strategies
