9679906-97361 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners through early intervention as a Speech Language Pathologist. This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated evaluation team and make a profound impact on the development of children in an Early Intervention (EI) program. The role begins at the start of the 2026-27 school year, with services focused on an early childhood caseload in an itinerant capacity, giving you the chance to visit a variety of sites and work one-on-one with families and children.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license, or eligibility/current application in process Experience in school settings desired, particularly with early childhood or early intervention populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse developmental needs Comfortable working in a collaborative, support-rich team environment Strong organizational and time management skills for successful itinerant service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, screening, and direct therapy for children ages birth to five within the EI program Function as an essential member of an evaluation team, assisting in the development of individualized plans Deliver services across various locations, adapting to childrens unique environments and needs Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, session notes, and progress monitoring Collaborate closely with families and EI team members to foster positive growth and communication development As part of this supportive EI team, youll benefit from ongoing professional collaboration, the chance to shape foundational skills for children at a critical stage, and plenty of variety as you serve in an itinerant role.
