We are currently seeking Experienced Heavy Trimmer / Butcher to join our team in the Vernon area. The ideal candidate will have prior meat trimming experience, strong knife skills, and the ability to work in a cold production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

AM Start Time Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Pay rate is based on experience. Responsibilities Trim, clean, slice, and cut raw meat for packaging preparation Utilize basic knife skills to perform meat trimming tasks Safely operate knives and other trimming equipment Sharpen and maintain personal knives as needed Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform manual lifting and remain standing for extended periods Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards Rotate to other department duties as needed Work with cold products in a refrigerated environment Follow all company safety procedures and support a safe workplace Qualifications Previous heavy trimming or butcher experience required Strong knife handling and cutting skills Ability to lift, carry, and handle meat products safely Ability to work in a cold environment Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork Must wear slip-resistant shoes #HLY123
