Job Description

Location:
Costa Mesa, CA Salary:
$100,000 - $115,000
Base Benefits:
M/D/V; Performance Bonus; Potential Profit Participation. Upscale, high-volume restaurant seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary vision, BOH leadership, and financial performance.
Qualifications:
8-15+ years of progressive culinary leadership in high-volume kitchens. Fine dining and/or high-end Asian cuisine experience preferred. Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, food/labor controls, and purchasing discipline. Proven ability to lead, train, and develop large BOH teams with consistent standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all BOH operations and culinary strategy while maintaining brand standards across service. Lead hiring, training, and development to elevate execution, culture, and team performance. Manage food and labor cost targets, vendor relationships, and purchasing oversight. Develop seasonal menus and special programming while ensuring consistent plating, portioning, and quality control.
