Wedding and Events Coordinator

Job Description

Job Summary CRS Hospitality is seeking a highly organized Wedding and Events Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the most memorable events. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, with a flair for planning and a talent for managing multiple projects seamlessly. As a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, you will ensure every event is executed flawlessly, exceeding expectations and creating unforgettable experiences. Duties Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for weddings and special events Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth execution from start to finish Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure the best terms and value Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and maximizing upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction Coordinate all logistics including catering, décor, entertainment, guest accommodations, and technical needs using event management software Oversee on-site setup, execution, and breakdown of events while maintaining high standards of guest services and hospitality Lead a team of staff or vendors during events to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service Utilize CRM systems to maintain client relationships, track preferences, and follow up post-event for feedback and future opportunities Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the planning process via phone, email, or in-person meetings Requirements Proven experience in event planning or hospitality industry roles such as banquet management or guest services Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining positive client relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members Experience managing event budgets and contracts with attention to detail and financial acumen Background in hospitality or events management is highly preferred; banquet experience is a plus Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams or coordinating vendor staff during events Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests Technical proficiency in audio-visual equipment or event technology is advantageous Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances while maintaining professionalism Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life Insurance 401k including company match Paid time off
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
