Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for a variety of events and venues. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of dynamic occasions, providing exceptional guest experiences while ensuring safety and smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, adaptability, and a passion for creating memorable events. We are looking for a high-energy, customer-oriented Events Specialist who will help support our event business, our current event focused coworkers, and at times will be responsible for driving, set up, and operating our ice cream truck at private and community events. You will serve as the face of our brand, ensuring guests have a fantastic experience while maintaining a clean, fully-stocked, and safe mobile unit.
Core Responsibilities Event Execution:
Arrive at event locations on time, set up the serving window, and operate equipment to prepare and hand out menu items. Plan and execute inventory stocking.Customer Service:
Greet guests with a positive, energetic attitude, assist with menu selection, and process payments.Truck Operation:
Safely drive and park the ice cream truck to and from event sites while adhering to all local traffic and mobile vending laws.Inventory Management:
Load and unload products, restock freezers before and during events, and maintain accurate sales and inventory records.Sanitation & Maintenance:
Keep the vehicle and prep areas impeccably clean and compliant with health department food-safety regulations.Qualifications & Requirements Age & License:
Minimum age requirement of 21 with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.Physical Stamina:
Ability to walk, stand for extended periods, and regularly lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs.Availability:
Flexible schedule, with a high willingness to work weekends and evenings during peak seasons.Certification:
Valid local food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one upon hiring within our company's ServSafe program.Personality:
Outgoing, trustworthy, and capable of working independently while managing a fast-paced environment.Pay:
