Glick from a simple idea of offering teenDs a summer job. Today, the organization's summer program engages teens in Anderson, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Muncie, and South Bend in a sixweek summer work program that provides work-based learning and professional development. The year-round Pro program, which provides additional individualized work experiences, college tours, networking opportunities, and professional development. Alumni Services is available to all teens after high school to support them in their post-secondary path. Position Summary The purpose of the Corporate Giving & Events Manager is to maintain and grow current corporate partnerships across Fort Wayne and Muncie and gain revenue for TeenWorks through these relationships. This position reports to the Vice President of Development and Communications and is an integral part of the Development Team. This position will also collaborate with other staff members on activities designed to enhance and support the overall mission of TeenWorks. Responsibilities Manage a strong portfolio of Fort Wayne and Muncie corporate donors; meet and exceed annual corporate fundraising goals for those cities. Meet and communicate with donors regularly. Research and develop new corporate and third-party relationships in Fort Wayne and Muncie. Engage and manage corporate and individual volunteers for Fort Wayne and Muncie. Organize volunteers and corporate partners for Interview Day, Hiring Day, Career Day, and Mock Interview Day, among other events. Assist with event planning, specifically for the Futures Breakfast, with logistics, sponsorships, and gift tracking; act as primary lead for sponsorship in Fort Wayne and Muncie. Serve as staff leader for one event per calendar year in each city. Complete data management as it relates to your portfolio Work cooperatively as a dedicated member of the development team to meet the overall fundraising annual goal Success Indicators Highly motivated to meet and exceed fundraising goals Exceptional relationship-building and stewardship skills Able to build long-term, valuable relationships with donors and volunteers; understand the donor pipeline and strong stewardship practices Strong attention to detail and highly organized Skilled communicator with both donors and colleagues; clearly communicates the mission and vision of the organization Exceptional at time management skills Able to multi-task and successfully execute complex events and projects Takes initiative with all tasks and exhibits strong leadership skills Acts professional in all settings Ability to problem solve independently to create solutions and move tasks forward Willing to be creative and "think outside the box" Comfortable in settings where networking is required Works well with colleagues across departments; strong interpersonal skills Passionate about the mission of TeenWorks Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Some non-profit experience is a plus but not required (1-2 years) Strong computer and technology skills, with experience in Microsoft Teams, Canva, GiveSmart, and Salesforce a plus Entrepreneurial spiriCareer Insights for Event Planner
