Role:
Assistant Event Coordinator - Catering If you enjoy people and want to make a positive impact in your community while working in a fast paced and exciting environment, then come join our team! We are looking for an assistant event coordinator who would like to join our well-established Catering Company to create fond memories for our customers. Responsibilities Assist in preparing paperwork for catered events Talk with clients to set up catered events Help with social media content and posting Assist with catered events as needed Help with special projects as needed by the Event Coordinator and VP of Operations Comply with company policies and procedures Skills 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, food service, or hospitality industry Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Hospitality, and Communications Friendly, outgoing, professional, and reliable Valid driver's license, clean driving record Fluent in English A positive attitude Creativity with food and decor Loves working in a team environment Motivated and understands the value of hard work and time management Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds
Schedule:
Part-time (25-30 hours per week)
Time Commitment:
We're looking for someone who can commit to the role for at least 1 year with oppurtunities for internal growth
Starting Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Shifts:
Day time (9-3 or 10-4) some weekends and evenings as needed
