Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle guest questions promptly Maintain organized waiting lists and monitor table availability to optimize seating flow Assist servers and kitchen staff by communicating guest needs and managing wait times effectively Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the host stand area, adhering to food safety standards Support guest relations by addressing guest concerns courteously and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent organizational skills to manage seating flow and reservation schedules efficiently Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Join our team as a Host/Hostess and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills can shine!
