A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

To assist in the cleaning and upkeep of assigned building(s) and grounds, to ensure a condition of operating excellence in order to provide a quality education and a safe and clean environment for all staff, students, and community members. Serves as Head Engineer in their absence.FTE/Hours per
Day:
8.0 hours per day, 52 weeks per year, Monday through Friday.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. A Special boiler license is required at the time of hire. Ability to obtain a Minnesota unlicensed electrician license within 6 months. One year of custodial experience in educational settings is preferred.Diversity:
