Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the location. Will effectively assist in carrying out the objectives for the location as determined by Key Management including all financial goals. Will provide leadership, set the example for, and monitor Malnati's product quality and service and will have a constant awareness of the "pulse" of what is happening in his/her location on each shift. Expectations of aRestaurant Manager:

- Strong guest and team member orientation. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.

- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
- Ability to work varied hours/days including holidays to oversee operations. Ability to work extra days and hours when circumstances require. Flexibility to rotate to other locations.
- Ability to balance labor to spreadsheets and explain variances daily.
- Ability to be part of creating a safe, fun, efficient, positive team orientated environment.
Essential Responsibilities of Restaurant Manager:
- Shapes the culture of the restaurant and works towards a high level of team member engagement and guest satisfaction.
- Assists with achieving all budgeted financial goals, including income, sales, costs, etc.
- Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members in all aspects of the business. Maintain team member performance appraisals, discipline, and termination.
- Work with team members in creating a positive guest experience and assist with guest needs as they arise in accordance with the guidelines set by Malnati Organization.
- Schedule team members in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.
- Implement and supervise responsible and ethical cash management for the location including checking out, balancing, and making the daily cash income deposit.
- Coordinate special events, drop-off catering and carry out orders. Implements store promotions.
- Responsible for inventory maintenance, purchasing and receiving per the Malnati Organization.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness guidelines for the location per the Malnati Organization.
- Monitor and maintain the high quality of service and food per the Malnati Organization.
- Supervise the repair and maintenance of the store. Report and address safety concerns.
- Provide timely feedback to supervisor regarding service failures or guest concerns.
- Ensure the location is prepared based on daily business needs and set up in all areas daily including but not limited to kitchen, food, prep work, cleanliness, and staffing.
- Responsible for attending required weekly, monthly and ad-hoc meetings.
- May delegate responsibilities with approval from their General Manager or District Manager.
- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant/carry out store including but not limited to dining room, kitchen, bar, office, phone area, delivery area and stock area.
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb and move about the facility; ability to stand approximately 90% of workday; manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift, move or handle goods throughout the location generally weighing 0-80 pounds.
Training:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus.
- Minimum 2 -3 years restaurant experience.
- Required to read and write English, follow, and assign verbal and written instructions and use math.
- Training in all aspects of the restaurant/carry out including but not limited to waiting tables; prep work; steam and pizza.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Company products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
