- Analyze and recommend the strategic direction of HR systems
- Partner with senior management on HR systems initiatives
- Lead HR systems projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Coordinate project activities with Information Services staff and consultants
- Evaluate and implement new software applications
- Support enhancements and fixes to existing systems
- Develop project plans, test plans, and system budgets
- Monitor project status and escalate issues as needed
- Test and approve system configurations, reports, tables, and interfaces
- Analyze complex business processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Gather and interpret business requirements
- Develop alternative solutions and system recommendations
- Create functional specifications and implementation plans
- Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to system users
- Serve as liaison between HR, Information Services, vendors, and consultants
- Facilitate collaboration among internal and external business partners
- Build support for systems initiatives and recommendations
- Represent the company with software vendors, professional associations, and user groups
- Provide production support for HR and Payroll applications
- Maintain application configuration, code tables, and system security
- Generate scheduled and ad hoc operational reports
- Develop and maintain Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Support interfaces and integrations between business systems
- Create audit reports and maintain data integrity controls
- Develop and maintain system documentation and user procedures
- Create training materials and conduct user training
- Assist users with software and hardware issues
- Support service request management and enhancement requests
- Provide recommendations on software, hardware, and system upgrades
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- Five (5+) years of experience supporting HR systems or business applications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Experience configuring and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion required
- Experience supporting Core HR, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Performance Management required Required Knowledge
- Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion configuration and administration
- HR and Payroll systems, processes, and business objectives
- Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher reporting solutions
- Oracle Fast Formulas and SQL
- Production support and systems troubleshooting
- Workforce management and timekeeping applications
- Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel functionality
- HR data management, reporting, and analytics
- Systems implementation and project management practices Skills & Abilities
