Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Dog Groomer and bring your passion for animal care directly to pet owners' doorsteps! In this energetic role, you will provide professional grooming services in a mobile setting, ensuring each furry client looks and feels their best. Your expertise in pet coat styling, animal handling, and customer service will create a positive grooming experience for pets and their owners alike. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, and pet coat styling tailored to each animal's breed and individual needs Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and groomers Maintain a clean, organized mobile grooming station, including sanitation of tools and equipment after each appointment Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming procedures, pet health considerations, and aftercare recommendations Assist with pet care tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and light veterinary-related procedures if qualified Manage heavy lifting of grooming equipment and supplies to ensure efficient service delivery Provide exceptional customer service by building trust with pet owners and addressing any questions or concerns professionally Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, and breed style grooming is highly preferred Strong animal handling skills Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to perform pet nail trimming, pet coat styling, and other grooming tasks with precision and care Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions Prior experience with veterinary or equine care is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
