Job Description

NOW HIRING
Equine and Barn Caretaker - The Gait at 45W (Maple Park, IL) We're looking for a reliable, safety-minded Equine and Barn Caretaker with strong horse care experience. Must be comfortable with proper equine feeding, handling, administering medications, and assisting with general care.
Responsibilities:
Stall cleaning + bedding Feeding grain, hay, supplements; monitoring intake Administering oral/topical medications Assisting with vet directed care (bandaging, wound care, temperature checks) Turnout/bring in Basic barn upkeep; fence/stall repairs a plus Safe, consistent horse handling
Schedule:
Full-time. Morning/afternoon shifts. Weekends/holidays required.
Pay:
$18.50-$23/hr
