We are seeking a friendly and attentive Shampoo Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our clients feel comfortable and well-cared for during their visit. This position offers a flexible work environment with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction. Base hourly rate ranges from $10-12 per hour, typical total earnings closer to $22-25 per hour including tips. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist them with their shampooing needs in a professional manner Prepare clients for their hair services by setting up the shampoo station and ensuring cleanliness Perform shampooing, conditioning, and scalp treatments as directed by stylists Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and stations regularly Support stylists with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth salon operations Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, caring, and responsive to client needs Assist with other salon duties to contribute to a positive and welcoming environment Requirements Friendly, caring attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work in a flexible schedule within a close family business setting Prior experience in a customer service or salon environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn about hair care products and techniques Join our warm and supportive team where your role as Shampoo Assistant is valued, and your efforts directly contribute to creating a positive experience for our clients.
