Updated 04/2026 Job Description Job Summary The Corporate Aircraft Mechanic at Toledo Jet is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on corporate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company policies. This role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and avionics discrepancies, determining corrective actions, and completing routine and non-routine inspections while ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of airworthiness, safety, and reliability. The mechanic will accurately document all maintenance performed in aircraft logbooks and maintenance tracking systems, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and coordinate closely with maintenance management to support timely aircraft availability. The position also involves aircraft ground handling, assisting with AOG situations as needed, and maintaining current knowledge of aircraft systems, technical publications, and regulatory requirements within a professional corporate aviation environment. Requirements FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Preferred) Minimum 3-5 years of corporate or business aviation maintenance experience (Preferred) Strong working knowledge of FARs, particularly Part 91 operations (Part 135 experience a plus) Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical data Proficient with maintenance documentation and record-keeping Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screening Experience on turbine-powered business aircraft (e.g., Citation, Challenger, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker, King Air, etc.) Avionics troubleshooting experience (Preferred) Prior FBO or corporate flight department experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (kneeling, bending, standing) Ability to work in hangar and ramp environments, including exposure to noise and weather conditions Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and occasional travel as required Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated without explicit consent of JSfirm, LLC.
