Automotions is looking for a B-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Elk River. We're looking for someone who is mechanically capable, dependable, honest, and takes pride in doing the job right . You don't have to know everything—but you do need to be willing to learn, ask questions, take ownership of your work, and continually improve. This is a great opportunity for a technician who is ready to move beyond basic maintenance and become a stronger, more independent technician.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance Complete brake, steering, suspension, cooling, electrical, and drivability repairs Perform diagnostic testing and accurately identify common vehicle concerns Use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment Perform inspections and communicate findings to the Service Advisor Follow repair orders and manufacturer procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Properly document work performed Work efficiently while maintaining quality Ask for help when needed and be willing to learn from more experienced technicians Help create a positive experience for our clients

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A

good B-level technician should be able to: Work independently on common repairs Perform quality maintenance and repair work without constant supervision Diagnose basic to moderate mechanical and electrical concerns Read and understand repair information Use diagnostic equipment effectively Understand the importance of proper inspections and documentation Recognize when a problem is outside your current skill level and communicate that appropriately Take responsibility for your work Show up consistently and be someone the team can count on

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Automotive repair experience Strong mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license Own basic hand tools Ability to work safely and efficiently Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers ASE certifications are a plus, but not required Willingness to continue learning and developing your skills
