This position reports to:
Maintenance Supervisor __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line. The work model for the role is Maintenance Apprentice- 3rd Shift. This role is contributing to the success of ABB Installation Products

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Apprentice, this person will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through various maintenance tasks. Additionally, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Maintenance Team with a clear path for career and professional growth. Major Responsibilities- Assist experienced maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs and installations.
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical and other issues on equipment
- Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance under supervision
- Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly
- Duration of the apprenticeship is up to 24 months
- Support any other responsibilities as assigned Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 months or less in similar or related work experience
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request parts or supplies verbally or in writing
