401k Health, Dental, Vision after 90 days Supplemental Health Insurance Sick Pay per CA law after 90 days Weely Pay Every Friday About the Role We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Test Technician to support the production and testing of advanced flow cytometry instruments and medical devices. In this role, you will perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure products meet strict performance and quality standards. This is a hands-on, technical position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys problem-solving across electronic, mechanical, optical, and fluidic systems. Key Responsibilities Perform final production testing, inspection, and instrument optimization (e.g., laser alignment, pressure adjustments, electrical tuning) Troubleshoot system and subassembly issues to identify and resolve root causes Repair or replace defective components and ensure proper documentation Analyze and document test data; compare results against specifications Complete Device History Records (DHR) accurately and on time Read and interpret: Work orders and assembly instructions Bills of materials (BOMs) Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test documentation Collaborate with engineers, technicians, QA, and production teams to resolve issues Develop and document troubleshooting methods and process improvements Support continuous improvement initiatives (quality, cost, efficiency, and reliability) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Ensure compliance with ISO, cGMP (21 CFR Part 820), and safety regulations Participate in training and maintain up-to-date certifications and records Required Qualifications Associate degree (A.S.) or equivalent technical training 3+ years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience using: Digital Voltmeters (DVMs) Oscilloscopes and general electronic test equipment Proficiency with computers (Windows or Mac) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Solid mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination Ability to: Lift up to 35 lbs Stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks daily Working knowledge of: Mathematical concepts (percentages, ratios, basic statistics) Quality systems and manufacturing standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical device manufacturing Hands-on experience with: Optical/laser systems Fluidic systems Analog and digital circuitry
Knowledge of:
