Industrial Equipment Operator

Industrial Equipment Operator Monvera Glass Decoration (www.monvera.com) is a leading supplier of glass decoration services to the wine and beverage industry. We print labels and spray coat directly onto glass bottles we are looking for an operator that we will train to use our spray equipment. This is not an office job. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Learning and performing all aspects of spray production  Machine set up and switch overs  Maintaining the quality of the spray job  Cleaning and maintaining the machine and the tooling. Tracking tooling inventory.  Updating job records and material inventory.  Co-coordinating with the spray team and other departments such as Print Production, QC and Shipping & Receiving.  Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations.

Position Requirements:

 Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.  Problem solver that can figure things out.  Able to pay close attention to detail and follow verbal and written instructions.  Problem solving skills and knowledge of basic math and measurements.  Able to communicate clearly both written and orally in English.  Ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment.  Comfortable with maintaining records, both paper and electronic.  Familiar with Gmail and Google Apps.  Able to work in a standing position and to lift medium weights.  Able to work overtime when required. Must be reliable and take pride in your work.

Education/Experience Requirements:

 A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.  Prior mechanical or machine operating experience is a plus  Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Monvera Glass Decoration is located on the waterfront in the Ford Motor Building by Pt. Richmond with free parking.
