Job Description

1st Shift 5:30AM-2:00PM Tues-Sat Machine Operator
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for the post-production machinery including auto-pack and auto-seal as well as serving as a backup to all operators for breaks and absences.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Load cups into machine based on the appropriate container for the product being produced. Ensure load cups promptly and accurately to avoid down time. Operate machinery Film installation Teflon replacement Check and ensure the quality of the product. Product texture Product Weight Water addition Perform all duties of the production operators in his|her absence. Raw material handling Bean loading and soaking Cooking and extracting Curding Pasteurizing Rework Waste disposal Packaging Complete and maintain all required production paperwork and records. Report and document any equipment|process abnormalities. Operate a forklift and pallet jack in accordance with safety requirements. Analyze root cause and provide corrective and preventative actions on processes and equipment. Report and document any equipment|process abnormalities. Adhere to all Safety and GMP regulations. Other duties or projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Problem-solving skills Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures High energy, productive, team player. Effective communication skills. Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions. Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally. Ability to push and|or pull full tofu carts with over 70lbs. Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and stand during entire shift. Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions. Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
