Petoskey Ice Arena a family owned and operated is looking for a Full & Part Time Zamboni Drivers. Flexible schedule. Starting at $17.00 per hour with experience. It's the classic cool job - driving a Zamboni! While others are hot in the summer sun, join our team and stay cool and work part-time. While others are working construction or sitting behind a desk work with us full time and have fun! Great work environment. Experience preferred but not necessary. Looking for a reliable person that is self motivated and detail oriented. Someone who can work independently and with a team of employees. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Perform ice resurfacing Perform daily maintenance and cleaning within the building Check and clean Locker rooms, restrooms Check and clean Restrooms Empty and clean trash cans Open and close building (secure) Manager on duty when senior staff is out of building. Ability to work on your feet beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required Ability to work positively with others and have interact daily with customers Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license Customer service and problem solving skills required Pay determined based upon experience and qualifications. We will train the right candidate for the position if no experience. Position is ideally suited for an outgoing self-starter comfortable with driving heavy machinery. Must be 20 years or older to apply and have a valid drivers license. No credit check. Position starts hourly and then could convert to salary after 6 months depending on your skill set. Work hours vary throughout the year. Weekends and nights required September 1 - April 1. Full time position offered paid personal leave /vacation time.
