We are a growing "small-batch" food manufacturer, supplying fruit spreads and sauces to retail and food service customers throughout the country. Learn and assist with the entire production process in a small batch commercial kitchen environment. As much an art as it is a science, you will work with all aspects of turning simple ingredients into shelf-stable, high quality, old-school-style preserves. Experience is appreciated but not required - we will teach you! Production team work involves product preparation, following process formulations, cooking, packaging, record-keeping and cleaning. Candidates should have the following attributes: Reliable Able to work cooperatively with others Positive & encouraging to others Able to lift 30-50 pounds, repeatedly Able to stand for extended periods of time Cleanliness Detail-oriented If you have experience working in farming, food, canning, baking, manufacturing, etc - please be sure to mention it in your application.
