Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Further Process Operator to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery.
Being responsible for monitoring and enforcing a controlled process in regard to food safety and regulatory requirements.
Performing and record daily pre-operative inspections prior to USDA inspection, and accompanying the designated USDA Inspector through their pre-op inspection.
Being responsible for understanding, training and demonstrating how to operate all further processing equipment.
Assisting in all HACCP monitoring activities, SQF and production paperwork for the further process operation.
Assisting the management team in root cause analysis, problem solving and follow through with resolution to food safety or quality issues.
SHIFT HOURS
Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pmSTARTING HOURLY RATE
$17.90-$21.45 with a potential increase after 90 days.ADDITIONAL PAY
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided.Job functions include:
