Further Process Operator - 1st shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Further Process Operator to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$17.90-$21.45 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided.

Job functions include:

Ensuring that food safety, quality procedures and

USDA-FSIS

regulations are being adhered to.

Being responsible for monitoring and enforcing a controlled process in regard to food safety and regulatory requirements.

Performing and record daily pre-operative inspections prior to USDA inspection, and accompanying the designated USDA Inspector through their pre-op inspection.

Being responsible for understanding, training and demonstrating how to operate all further processing equipment.

Assisting in all HACCP monitoring activities, SQF and production paperwork for the further process operation.

Assisting the management team in root cause analysis, problem solving and follow through with resolution to food safety or quality issues.
