In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating precise sample garments that meet our quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in garment sewing, fabric handling, and seam construction will ensure that each sample accurately reflects the design intent and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative clothing lines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of your craftsmanship and dedication. Duties Operate industrial sewing machines, serging equipment, and embroidery machines to assemble sample garments with precision and efficiency Manually cut fabric materials according to detailed patterns and measurements, ensuring accuracy for each sample Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure garments meet specified size standards and quality benchmarks Construct seams and garment components following established sewing techniques and quality standards in production Handle materials carefully, including fabrics used in upholstery or clothing, to prevent damage during processing Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace by adhering to safety protocols during machine operation and materials handling Collaborate with design teams to interpret technical specifications and adjust sewing processes as needed for optimal results Skills Proficiency in using measuring instruments for accurate dimensional measurements of fabrics and finished garments Strong understanding of quality standards in production, ensuring each sample meets design specifications Expertise in seam construction, garment sewing, serging, embroidery, and garment assembly techniques Experience operating various sewing machines including industrial sewing machines and sergers Knowledge of fabric materials used in clothing and upholstery applications Ability to manually cut fabric with precision using cutting tools and templates Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to maintain a secure workspace Warehouse experience is a plus for efficient materials handling and inventory management Skills in garment construction, sewing, embroidery, and upholstery will enhance overall quality output Join us as a Sample Sewer (Clothing) where your craftsmanship will help shape innovative fashion pieces!
