In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to create high-quality garments and upholstery products. Your expertise will ensure that each item meets precise measurements, quality standards, and safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate various sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and serging equipment, to assemble and finish garments or upholstery items Measure fabric materials and finished products using measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions in accordance with design specifications Follow detailed sewing instructions and garment construction guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in every piece Handle materials carefully, including fabric, foam, padding, and other upholstery components, ensuring proper materials handling throughout the process Conduct manual fabric cutting with precision to prepare pieces for sewing, adhering to pattern layouts and safety standards in production Monitor quality standards during production by inspecting stitches, seam construction, and overall garment integrity; make adjustments as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production, including machine safety protocols and proper handling of sharp tools and materials Experience Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines, sergers, or similar sewing equipment in a manufacturing or upholstery setting Familiarity with measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, and calipers for accurate dimensional measurements Knowledge of garment sewing techniques, seam construction, embroidery, and upholstery fabrication processes Understanding of quality standards in production to ensure consistent product excellence Experience with manual fabric cutting (fabric cutting) and materials handling in a fast-paced environment Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns related to garment construction or upholstery projects Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and materials organization Join us if you're passionate about creating high-quality products through skilled sewing craftsmanship!
