Position Summary:

The Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing and preparing detail components and assemblies using general shop tools that meet the customer and STEICO drawings/specifications manufactured within the documented manufacturing processes provided by STEICO.

Essential Responsibilities:

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities requested by supervisor. Job duties and requirements may change as required by needs of Company. Essential Duties in Order of Priority Frequency Performed 1. Operating Chop saws for trimming of Metal tubes and ducts. Daily 2. Operating Manual Mills and Lathes for drilling and coping of tubes and ducts. Daily 3. Operating Pneumatic Tools such as die grinders, Dynabrade belt sanders and pencil grinders. Daily 4. Operating bench buffers, bench grinders, tube expanders and 20" disk sanders. Daily 5. Using hand tools such as deburring tools, and rubber mallets. Daily 6. Using calibrated tools such as dial calipers, depth gauges, snap gauges and height gauges. Daily 7. Follow company policies and procedures. Constant 8. Education:

High School Diploma/ General Education Completion Experience:

Experience in custom cabinet and fine woodworking trades highly beneficial Working with aluminum, stainless steel and titanium is a plus Experience reading blueprints and using measuring devices is a plus Experience/knowledge of equipment, machines, tools, etc: Understanding of chop saws, manual drills and general hand tools Knowledge of grinders and sanders Manual mill and lathe knowledge Knowledge of measuring devices Understanding blueprints Communication and language skills: Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Requires English skills both verbally and written Mathematical skills: Basic math skills - add, subtract and knowledge of the decimal system

Computer Skills:

Basic knowledge of computers Reasoning ability: Must be able to look at blue-print and understand dimension once trained on basic blue-print reading skills. Ability to access facts and develop conclusions

Certificates or Licenses:

Knowledge of machines and tools Detail orientated Capable of following instructions Responsible and Accountable Work in a team environment as well as independently at times Adaptability and flexibility

Supervision Received:

Training is provided daily, and all work is checked for accuracy and documented on OJT forms until individuals can operate independently. Productivity and Quality are checked daily by leads. Meetings are held regularly to go over actions and issues within the department pertaining to productivity and quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory authority over others. Interaction with others (internally and externally): This position interacts internally with co-workers, leads, managers and senior managers from all departments on a daily basis. Discretion and independent
