Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Contribute your expertise as a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse, supporting patients and surgical teams through a variety of procedures. In this contract opportunity, you'll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR professionals to ensure excellence in care and seamless operations, always aligning with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards.
Schedule:
8-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Friday On-call required one day per week and one weekend per month
Qualifications:
Current Idaho or multi-state RN license (must be submitted with application) AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (documentation required) Minimum 3 years of recent hospital-based Operating Room RN experience Skilled in General Surgery; preferred experience with DaVinci, Orthopedics, robotic knee replacement, trauma, and Neuro surgeries Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially related to supporting surgeons and updating patient families
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule surgical cases, verifying supplies and readiness Circulate and scrub surgical cases as assigned Supervise and support OR personnel Update and maintain physician preference cards Communicate essential information with families and the surgical team Ensure timely case starts and optimal workflow within the OR A dynamic work environment and the satisfaction of directly impacting patient outcomes await.
