Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Embrace a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a supportive educational setting near Wellington, NV. This full-time position offers the chance to provide vital speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 55-60 students across both elementary and secondary school levels. Openings are available at both educational stages, letting you share your expertise with children and adolescents alike. School hours vary by assignment, with most elementary schedules running from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm and secondary from 7:30 am to 2:15 pm, allowing a consistent routine with built-in work-life balance. The environment encourages the development of new skills, innovation in therapy practice, and genuine collaboration with other professionals.
Qualifications/Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms valued Demonstrated ability to manage a moderate caseload efficiently Compassionate approach to working with students from diverse backgrounds Strong communication and organization abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in accordance with IEPs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Support students' communication goals within classroom environments Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting Offer support via in-person or telepractice, as needed This role is perfect for both Clinical Fellows and experienced SLPs who are eager to help children reach their fullest potential in a dynamic, nurturing setting.
