Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type All Job Types Discover a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Smith, NV. Make a meaningful difference by working with a diverse caseload of 55-60 students across both elementary and secondary school levels. Enjoy the flexibility of collaborating on-site, offering services via teletherapy, or supporting home health programs.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Developing individualized treatment plans and interventions to address both educational and functional goals Collaborating closely with teachers, school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Conducting assessments and evaluating student needs, adjusting therapy plans as required Participating in IEP meetings and providing professional recommendations Maintaining thorough documentation of sessions, progress, and compliance with regulatory requirements Supporting students in both traditional classroom and virtual environments as needed
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license Experience in school-based, teletherapy, home health, or clinical healthcare settings Ability to manage a moderate caseload (55-60 students) with varying needs Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with best practices in pediatric OT and special education environments Comfortable working with both elementary-aged children and adolescents Open to adapting schedules to match school hours (elementary: 8:30-3:15, secondary: 7:30-2:15) This position offers the chance to make a significant impact within an adaptable and collaborative team environment.
