Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives on creating a warm, welcoming environment for patients? Do you enjoy being the first point of contact and playing a vital role in the patient experience? If so, NMC Health invites you to join our award-winning healthcare team in Newton. We are currently seeking a Receptionist Specialist (PRN) to support our Specialty Clinic. In this front-facing role, you will serve as the first impression for patients and visitors while supporting day-to-day operations in a busy clinic environment. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth patient check-in/check-out, managing phone communication, and helping maintain a positive and professional atmosphere.
Your duties will include:
Greeting and checking in patients Answering phones and directing calls appropriately Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance Providing general administrative support to the clinical team Maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations At NMC Health, were committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care and that starts with a positive patient experience. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Associate degree or some college coursework preferred Completion of a medical terminology course preferred 1-2 years of experience in an office reception setting preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills Join our Team!
