The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for monitoring sanitation activities in production areas, assisting with the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP), and helping the Sanitation Manager with day-to-day tasks. The role involves ensuring proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures are being followed in production areas, working with and assisting production and housekeeping teams during their cleaning tasks, performing sanitation investigations, and maintaining regulatory compliance involving sanitation processes. The Sanitation Assistant will work closely with the Sanitation Manager to maintain sanitation standards and ensure the safety of the production environment. This role includes monitoring cleaning chemical use, temperature and humidity levels in all facilities, observing sanitation processes, helping with day-to-day sanitation department tasks, and assisting in EMP implementation. Responsibilities Monitor sanitation activities within production areas to ensure compliance with company standards Assist with the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) and related documentation Support the Sanitation Manager with daily operations and assigned tasks Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the facility Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and guidelines Qualifications Previous experience in sanitation or production preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) Join us as a Sanitation Assistant to be part of a dynamic team committed to restoring environments while ensuring safety and cleanliness.
